Ram 3500, 10 ply tires, 55 front 55 rear. No I do not put more in to pull my 26.5 ft TT. Even at those pressures, I am wearing them out slightly more in the middle. Thinking about dropping to 50 or less. Tires are about worn out anyways.

When I asked that question I was told the 275/70/18 tires are rated at 3638 lbs per tire at 60 PSI more then enough to cover the 10K GVRW of the 2500.
You should be able to find what is called a load inflation table, which basically tells you how much load the tire can support at various PSI levels. A typical E-rated tire in that size has a max load of 3,640 lbs. at the max 80 psi. Take 3,640 lbs. x 4 tires and that is over 14,000 lbs. which is obviously not needed to support a 10K GVW (loaded weight).
If you assume the front and rear of the truck would weigh the same at the 10k GVW, that means each tire has to support 2,500 lbs. Looking at the load inflation table the tires can support 2,680 lbs. at only 55 psi. At 60 psi the tire is rated for over 3,000 lbs. each, or 12,000 lbs. total, which again is over the GVW rating of the truck.

Ah - you got 18" rim tires. My truck came with 20", I bought used. I hate big rims, but whatever. If I configured a new order I would get 18" rims, unless they force 20" on you with certain packages. Hell, they're even doing 22" rims now.
Trying to turn a pickup truck into a ghetto cruiser. Absurd. I guess that's what young guys like, along with monster mudder trucks. Not me, I just tow and haul stuff around.

I have the OEM 18" rims with Duratrac 275/70/18 tires on my 2021 2500, long bed. I run 45 rear, 50 front and find it rides much better with a lot less air. From 65 rear to 55 rear, no real difference. Ride didn't improve much till I aired the rear down to 45. I used Alphaobd to fix the TPMS.

This load table for the 275 70 18E and D tires was posted on page one of this thread. You can easily see all you need is between 45 and50 PSI to hit the 10,000 LB GVW.

takes a bit but since the jeep I have done this when I change tire style/brand (reminds me I need to do it again)
BTW doing it on a dirt road is useless haha

I agree. That was the biggest reason I ordered a Limited Longhorn over the Limited. I was able to get the 18" rims on the Longhorn, but not on the Limited.

305x12R18 MTs at 30/30. Pulled a 15K lb stock trailer (tongue weight ???) and saw very little extra squish. That was only for 15 miles or so. Going a long ways I would air up to 40. Seeing all of you running 50+ seems insane.

Even with my old 275x10R20 that was more of a street tire I still ran 35/40 and got a really good wear pattern.

My 22 with 275/70/18E calls for 60 psi in all 4 so far even wear
You can run whatever the sticker says or you can try playing with pressure like some of us have. You can DRAMATICALLY improve ride and handling without compromising tire wear or safety. Try it before you dismiss all the advice posted here.

I have tried the 65 front 60 rear went back to 60 all 4, I no longer hate the front end bounce pulling in to my drive way...

I just run a little more in the front because it is heavier because of the dsl motor. may not need to. 5# one way or the other may not be very noticeable with the hard oem tires
