So if I were to put a name brand long tube headers and let's say a magnaflow Exhuast on my 2011 5.7. Anyone have a simailr set up? Wondering if it would affect mpg? And really how many HP can I gain from this? Also how loud will it actually be? I'm looking for a nice sound on start up and when i really get on gas other than that I don't want an overly loud truck lol thanks!

I have longtube kooks 1-3/4" catless headers and a corsa exhasut. It is quite loud on start up but calms down. Idle is very nice and grumbly and it screams when you step on it. Rolling down the highway it sounds like the stock set up. I'm very happy.

If you have a magnaflow exhaust it will defiantly be much quieter than my corsa.

my gas mileage has dropped, but thats only because i really lean into it now, but if your not driving like a dink I dont think it will affect it at all.

HP gains with long tube headers alone around 20-30 with a tune ~50 I'm thinking. Still have to get my truck on the dyno since my install.

What about shorty headers? And keep the cats. Pros and cons of getting rid of the cats? Also the shorty with a magnaflow/flow master muffler? And would converting to a true dual exhaust be very beneficial for loudness and performance?
