I have a 2014 Dodge Ram Promaster 1500. I need to remove the old headlight bulb and install a new one. I removed the access cover and believe I found the bulb but I have no idea how to remove it. I even took pictures of the backside of the bulb which didn’t help. I have access to a shop manual and it simply says to twist it off.. that is not happening. I would think (hope) the process would be the same as the same year truck (again, hope). Will someone please help me out with this issue.

It should be a half-(or quarter?-)twist counter-clockwise, then pull straight back and out.

Yup, should be twist and pull out. However, the o-ring is tight (as it should be) so you may have to put some muscle behind the hustle to get it out. I have also noticed that if the bulb is not seated properly, it is harder to get out. Good luck
