I ordered the CANBUS-safe HID conversion kits from DDM Tuning for both the headlights and fog lights. I haven't had any problems with them yet and they've been on the truck for a couple weeks now and I didn't use any relay harness or anything. The built-in CANBUS correction in the ballasts works well.

Just sounds like to me that the retro lighting way is just a big hassle or is this just me I mean it's like 700 for headlights to get done plus you have to go to the dealer for what? Activate drl? I don't understand.

It depends if you want to see at night. I've owned 2 vehicles with factory HIDs and they are/were 1000Xs better than my ram lights at the moment. In my opinion, modern vehicles should not come with incandescent lighting anymore.
I know I will eventually 'bite the bullet' and order me up a set of lights from Jeremy because it makes that much of a difference

Ok guys and gals, just got back from my Ireland trip and picked-up the headlights from Jeremy. Going on 24 hours of no sleep now, just cracked into some fine whiskey that I brought back and couldn't help but to crack I to the headlights. Thought I'd include some pics for those that are on the fence.

I had Jeremy install the clear corner, tint the corner and turn signal, upgrade the signal lights to the RGBW, and install the morimoto projectors. Jeremy's idea was to light tint the corner and turn signal to give a little smoked look, which was more what I was leaning towards. I let him pick the tint shade and must say that I'm tremendously happy with the look, even though they're not on the vehicle yet. I'll include a pick of the clear on my side mirror for reference. I'll need to tint the side mirror clears next. Additionally, the ceramic coating he uses is very nice. I already had ceramic coating due to having the whole vehicle coated a month prior, but the coating he used provides extra slickness. Also, the protective wrapping placed over the lenses was much appreciated. A small gesture, but the details are what counts, and the attention provide instills 100% faith in his craftsmanship. To top it off, he emailed a custom video for installing my lights specifically and to demonstrate functionality! That was above and beyond and demonstrates customer service on another level. Some pics below for enjoyment... Wrapped in plastic, unwrapped and side mirror for clear tinting reference... I'm going to fiddle around with the wiring a little bit but finish off tomorrow. I'll still need to unlock DRLs @ the dealership, but no biggie.

Sweet! I saw Jeremy showing those off on FB the other day but didn't realize they were yours. They're going to look great on your truck.

Do you know what you're going to run for bulbs and ballasts?

Hey neighbor, how did/what made you decide to go with that vendor? Not a trick question, just wondering. Haven't heard of them and I'm always looking for good vendors to do business with.

Thanks!

If you're looking for a good vendor, go elsewhere. DDM is run by sleazeballs.

The short version is that they have a history of posing as customers of competitors and alleging poor service and product failures in an attempt to hurt the competitor. Anybody who has to resort to tactics like that to get ahead is nobody I want to give my money to.

Here's a fun read:

They're the 55w ballasts w/ whatever HIDs Jeremy throws in w/ the FX-R projectors, not sure which ones. 5500k though.

Could use some help w/ the parking light out message on the evic. Tried a bunch of combos for the harness and can't seem to get it to go away. Pic below

Top two fingers are holding the oem input from the wire harness. Thumb is holding the resistor connection. Loops back around to the light w/ the little box doo-hickey in the chain. Thoughts? Tried a couple positions. Letting it sit w/ the battery disconnected for a bit.

None of those wires are for the parking lights. That wiring is for the HIDs and all of the parking/signal/DRL wiring should still be internal. For some reason it seems like your truck doesn't like the DD boards. Did you connect the blue fault sense wire to your factory harness with a t-tap? That's supposed to be for the turn signals, but that's the only thing I can think of. Since your truck had projectors from the factory, it shouldn't need resistors.

Got it all worked out thanks to Jeremy. Stellar customer service, even on Sunday, and mother's day nonetheless! Couple of pics below. Now I need to do something about the foglights lol.

Looks sweet!

Morimoto will be coming out with XB LED fog assemblies for the 13+ later this year. I was considering building something but I'm just going to wait for them now that I know they're happening for sure.

Thanks! Yeah, I may just leave the foglights off until then, or buy some cheap led bulbs and throw them in so the color matches closer. Couple more pics close up after a wash.

Couple more pics for ***** and giggles. Also a pic shinning into the garage. There are 8 fluorescent bulbs lighting up the 3 car garage and you can clearly see how bright these puppies are. Can't wait for it to get dark lol.

I can't stand by Jeremy enough. His work and his customer service are probably the best I've ever dealt with. I had a bunch of questions myself and a couple hiccups on my part during install and he knew the answers to my stupidity immediately. My truck is also being cranky about my demon eyes so he ordered me up a capacitor no questions asked. Will absolutely be working with him in the future again. 09f5ae5c9d39a29fd633a1244b0445bb.jpg

As for your lights man, they make me a little jealous I didn't go with the OEM projector housings[emoji23] Way too much for me because I had stock quads. Oh well, next time[emoji41] Truck looks good keep it up!
