It may be like my Can am, Spyder - you can't change to after Market bulbs as the system detects a change that it determines is a defect. Halogen bulbs and LED bulbs are not the same - LED bulbs are much lower energy use. IMO !

Many members have successfully upgraded their halogen bulbs to LED bulbs, myself included.
Ram truck years 2012-2015 can occasionally be more challenging to configure, but often, tweaking the BCM settings with AlfaOBD has been sufficient to produce positive results.

@Carib909. If you do try AlfaOBD, Be very, very careful. The program is quite powerful and you can royally hose your truck if you just start changing things without knowing what you are doing.

If you go this route, please start a new thread and we can guide you a lot with what to do and what NOT to do.
