My 2020 Ram Laramie has the headlight condensation that Ram refuses to do anything about, one has been replaced by the used car dealer that sold us the the truck but I’ve yet to replace the second as like I say Ram will take no responsibility for it and the lady from corporate Ram my wife talked to on the phone was damned right hostile ! My question is am I better buying an off brand headlight and if so which is the best , or should I just bite the bullet and spend the $1600 on an OEM one

I don't have any experience with 5th gens, but I'd never buy any aftermarket factory style headlights. As cheap as they may be it's a waste, they're always cheap junk

Perhaps a scrap yard, takeoffs from fb marketplace, or an aftermarket LED housing from a reputable brand?

Yeah I understand, I just don’t want to spend all that money for it just to happen again

Check eBay for one. My OEM ones were junk just like most of those no name eBay ones. Actually my current eBay set has held up better. All else fails throw them in the oven to melt the glue, remove the lenses, add better glue, and reinstall the lenses. Could solve the moisture issue.
