With all the headlight options (housings and bulbs), reflective, projector, quad, HID, LED, HALOGEN.......I can't make heads or tails out of what's right for MY truck. So let's start from scratch and see if someone can help ME with MY application.

I have a '16 Rebel with Projector housings. I have NO IDEA what kind of bulbs it came with, but I want to make them as bright as I can WITHOUT adding wiring, ballasts, conversion boxes, or modifying the housing in any way.

What's the brightest bulb I can just drop in the housing to replace the stock mystery bulbs (someone will solve that mystery for me and tell me that they're probably Halogens).

My stock fogs are nice and white, but the stock projector bulbs are yellow and dingy. I'll take those bluish ones, if they're bright, but like white better. Whatever "type" is in my fogs are pretty white. Someone inform me what my stock fogs are as well, and maybe I can find a projector bulb that's just as white.....and bright. I need to see better further down the road at night. The deer around here are attracted to the dingy yellow lights on my REBEL and seem to jump right at them with regularity. I'm hoping they won't like the brighter ones as much, or at least I'll see them coming sooner.

If no ballasts, additional harnesses or connectors are wanted then I'd suggest you upgrade the halogens that the truck came with.

PIAA, Sylvania SilverStar or Putco would be some recommended brands.

Frankly, those bulbs won't provide a significant improvement. I've been there, done that.

Here's something to consider. The HID kit that Retroshop provides, along with the install videos available at his website, are some of the best out there. The kits are not hard to install and they just work with no fiddling around and no hassles. The resulting improvement in light output is amazing.
