You probably don't want those for HID's then. HID's work best with a good projector lens.

My oem headlights on my 2012 Ram were horrible. I hit a deer as a result horrible light output.
I attempted to upgrade to sylvanias and was given the wrong bulbs. The dealership told me i got the wrong bulbs and sold me a pair or Piaaa extreme white bulbs( $100) a pair.

I do lot of highway driving. As a result i got LED headlights which were only 1200 lumen each side which in my quad headlights( 2 regular 2 highbeams) as a result i got rid of them and ordered led fog lights.

I then decided to try the HID lights... What a disaster.

I bought a kit from a buddy h11 lhid bulbs- i paid $110 for 2 bulbs 2 ballasts and a relay. I installed that kit and the lights only worked when the vehicle was in park. when the vehicle was in motion it would just buzz and flicker.

I contacted the supplier and he told me i needed a "can bus" ballast and he also sold me some anti flickering modules. I installed the "can bus" ballast and the lights worked for a day then would flicker yet again and just go out. When the lights ork they are great but....

Do i even bother installing the flickering module? It just seems to be an and then and then. step after step and to be honest Im kind of getting tired of it. Just too much work.

Thoughts would be much appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you bought a bunch of junk.

I have 2 kits on my truck, both 5000k kits from MaxLux HID (can bus compatible ballasts) and I know BLKMAGIC has them in his truck too, with no issues at all. If you buy them direct from MaxLux they're $59.99 a set. Plug the bulbs in, find a mounting place for the ballasts, connect it up and go.

I found them on eBay. These are the quads. You'll have to check to see what lights you have. They have duals as well. They take halogen bulbs the same as the OEM housings do. Some people have complained about them, but I have had zero issues with mine. Just search ebay for your year Dodge Ram headlights. That's how I found mine.

Is doesnt mater if you have quads or duals. They all use the same plug for the headlights.

Yes, mopars are sketchy with HIDS. You need the anti-flicker modules or get the harness form JJ

So what your saying is if I have quads, I can use duals and they will just plug right in? What about th extra bulb?

What led pod is that?

It's just a spare one I had In my tool box. I'm going to be getting two brand new ones. My buddy owns his own lighting company so they are just generic china but I get them for $40 each

Alright guys. Here's an update. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1407314294.282441.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1407314302.080522.jpg
I am blacking everything out and not taking any stops. I have a 6 led pod which will be wired directly to my trucks high beam control I have blue oracle lights and blue LEDs back lighting the pod. I also have led turn signals. I should be finished tomorrow. I will post more pictures as I progress.
