So I bought my 2018 Rebel brand new and the heated seats on either side don't work right. The back (not the bottom) on mine gets slightly warm but only enough to tell it isn't my body heat. In the bottom I can't tell if it's my body heat or the warmer which is a clear indicator that it isn't reaching the correct temp.

We obviously checked the fuse and the connections and everything *** good. The dealership just replaced the heating elements and it still feels the same.

My 99 Jeep would damn near boil you alive on high. **** even my gf's Hyundai gets you nice and toasty.

Am I just bring picky or do your guy's heated seats get very warm? I'm starting to question myself and feel like an *******.

Side note: my heated steering wheel feels great.

Unfortunately the heated seat pads only go up as far as your lower back on the Sport style seats. It is common for people to think they have an issue with the back of the seat not getting warm. I know this because I actually reupholstered my seats and I was shocked how low the back seat pad is. This is a picture of the actual heated seat pad. As you can see the heating elements go up to your lower lumbar and that's about it. I was definitely disappointed with that aspect of my heated seats. My wife's Camaro heated seats are much better than the heated seats in my truck.5940582ee44bc43897bec2c0e84e1d57.jpg

That's interesting. However they still have pads in the butt of the seat right? Cause I don't feel anything on the bottom. And only the very slightest of heat in the lumbar.

Oh I'm sorry I miss understood your post. Yes the seat pad on the bottom should get warm from the first seam in the seat all the way to the back. Mine get pretty warm after a few minutes. I have seen a couple of post with other people complaining about the same thing lately.

Yes there is a pad on seat back and the base. The parts are pretty expensive. If you can get done under warranty I would do so.

Hello pridemore54,

Are you planning on getting this inspected by the dealership? Let us know if we can be of any assistance with the servicing process.

On my '17, they're hit/miss...sometimes they are warm'ish...sometimes I swear they're not on at all. In comparison, my wife's '15 Chrysler T&C gets really warm and the loaner '17 Jeep Cherokee I had would darn near melt you butt off...

Thank you for the concern. My dealership has been taking care of me well. They tried replacing the heating element but that hasn't helped either. Making another appointment this week to see if they can't find something else.

To answer your question, no you are not being too picky. You bought a new truck with warranty. Everything should work perfectly.
