It’s normally a switch in that bottom row of switches under the radio. The 8.4 radios can also control it in the climate settings.

The physical switch is optional but recommended if you have a 8.4" radio.

You'll need the part behind the steering wheel called a clock spring, and the electronics & wiring for a heated driver seat if you don;t want to bypass and create your own control circuit.

As stated by others depending on your trim level you may or may not have the correct wiring. If you have a Bighorn or higher you should have it. If your truck is an SLT or lower you will most likely not have it. In order for the heated wheel to work you would need the actual heated seats. The HSM (heated seat module) and harness is mounted to the bottom of the driver's side heated seat. Long story short you will need the heated seat, heated wheel clockspring, heated wheel, switch panel (unless you have a RA3 or RA4 radio), plus have the correct wiring and finally you would need to enable the codes in the BCM in order for it to all work. If you don't have the wiring from the factory you can purchase a conversion from M2mods who is in the vendor section of the forum. Definitely not something you just buy and plug in to make work. With all that being said myself and many others have upgraded our trucks to the Heated/Vented seats and Heated Wheel but it's not cheap.
