Hello. New member here. Need help with a puddle light that stays on at all times.

Hello everyone. Thank you for your help before hand. Im a new member. Recently got a 19 New model 1500 at the auction. I like the truck so far.

Now, the puddle light of my right mirror stays on at all times. Just that side. I tried checking the interior cabin light switch, that one is fine. Dont know what to do. I replaced my left mirror since it was damaged and that one works as supposed. Its on and once you locked it, it powers off (thats the driver side) but passenger side stays on at all times.
It will be a rebuilt so I cant take it to the dealer to get it fixed under warranty


Any suggestions? Thanks

You can take the bulb out. I just got my truck. I'm not sure what or where the control switch is.

By the head light switch you have a switch for the puddle lights and the fog lights that turn them off, Are you sure that the passenger side mirror is functioning properly seeing its just been replaced.
