A few years back, I installed Hellwig sway bars on my '65 Plymouth Belvedere and it made the car handle incredibly well. It was flat in the turns, and I was catching Porsches, Mustangs, and even Corvettes in the turns.

When I bought my 2017 RAM 1500 Sport, I was disappointed with the amount of body roll the truck possessed, even with front and rear bars. The truck was like a violent roller coaster on uneven terrain. So I called up my friends at Hellwig and ordered a set of sway bars for the truck... I was not disappointed with them. See the write up below on Mopar Connection Magazine:

Putting the Sport back into a 2017 RAM 1500 Sport Pickup

Why was this moved to General Discussion? I had it in DIY write ups, I did it myself and I wrote the article, why was it moved?

I was super happy after I installed my Hellwig it makes a big difference in how the truck handles and is a easy install.
I have mine set in the middle hole.

Just to clarify, your Ram is NOT a 4x4?

You have to buy the bars from a dealer, I don't think Hellwig sells direct. Yes, my truck is 2WD. I found the rear bar online for about $211

Nice write-up, I'm thinking this may be my next mod. Love me some spirited driving on some back roads in my big pick 'em up truck. Moe's does carry them and has the rear bar for trucks lifted 4-6 inches as well

That's a nice looking car you got on the car hauler! I installed the rear Hellwig bar on my previous Ram but never replaced the front one. That being said the rear one made a hell of a difference so I wonder if anyone tried the rear one first and then added the front one later on and how much of an impact it had. Those raised white letter tires on your Ram really look badass!

Are these review on trucks with air ride or the regular coil suspensions?

That's if you clicked on his link,if you look at his pic in the thread you can't tell whether it's a 4X4 or 2wd dude. FYI some of us don't clic on the link as it's not worth our time, lol.
