Tried 5 times to change milage on 7" doesnt seem to work
Managed the drive an idle hours to change but no luck on milage
followed big daddy's house vid but no luck

any help/suggestion?

clusters out of a 17 an my Rams a 17 aswell sxt

Currently it'***** or miss it seems. Alexey is working on a fix I've been told. If you could, in the 4th gen diy section I have a thread on alfaobd and mileage and hours correction. I'm hoping to gather enough info to send to Alexey to help with his fix. Trying to see if there is any pattern in either year clusters or year truck's or a combo of both

Right that is my understanding as well. I upgraded to the 7" cluster but the seller programmed it for me and I don't think he used alpha I think you need a different tool to reliably change the mileage and it's hard to get from what I understand.

Depending on who you bough it from, in my research, there is a program Jprog (if I remember right) cost $700, then you'll still need a ecu and a wiring harness. So you could be in it for another $1500 if not more for those parts.

I believe the first version that contained the ability to program the 7 inch cluster is what he needs to bring back. I had no issues programming my 2017 cluster in my 2018 truck

After you do it, try reading all faults, clearing them, then end the procedure. Shut off the truck, open the door, close it, let it sit for 5 mins. Then start it back up.

Update
managed to program the EVIC to correct mileage
after dozen or so attempts i had a real brain fart...serious
stopped an thaught and rewatched the vids,reread write ups then it dawned on me
I'm entering kilometers an Alfa reads it as miles hence such high readout...in kilometers
soooooooo..inputs have too be in US measures dah
hope this helps other going crazy canucks
