Help keyless entry or not

Okay I bought a 2017 ram 2500 6.7 diesel tradesman edition it came with a regular key then bought does new tip key fobs and had it programed but it only turns the truck on but the lock and unlock buttons don’t work the truck does lock and unlock from the switches inside or automatically locks when I drive off but does not automatic lock when left parked I have to lock it manually from the inside switches please help what could I do to get the remotes to work?

Ok, I’m trying to decipher the large run on sentence, so I’ll break down what *I think* you’re asking. So you’re looking to add remote keyless entry, and you bought the fobs for it. When you had them programmed, did you have the dealer add the remote keyless entry sales code (GXM)?
The automatic locks is a setting you can turn on and off in the instrument cluster using the steering wheel buttons (if you have the small NON touchscreen radio). The normal function of that feature is to automatically lock the doors once you reach about 15mph, but it’s not possible to have the doors automatically lock while in park, or as soon as you put it in gear. Now, there IS another setting you can choose called “Auto Unlock on Exit”. This will automatically unlock all doors when you put the truck in park, and you pull the driver door handle.
