I have to ask this because the Ruggedliner I bought is crap. That being said I will never give that company money again.

Bakflip G2 and Unbercover Flex
Both sit on rails inside the cab. G2 will rest against the cab. Flex won't.
Any other Pros and cons for each

Solid Fold 2.0
I know the tri folds will have more of a tendency to leak that sit on the bed rails.

My needs are I need to be able to unload and load the bed with a forklift or overhead crane. bundles of 4.5" pipe 7' long. When a facility doesn't have an overhead crane. we strap them up, lift them, and back the truck under the load. My worry with the G2 and Flex is that one idiot operating the forklift wrecks the rails that sits on the inside. Yes you can take the cover off both the G2 and Flex but the covers rails still stay there.

Any real life experience with any of them would be great.
TIA!

hi,

I am extreem happy with the solid fold 2.0
very simple mounting no work need to be done on the rails etc.

Thanks! That is what I ended up ordering. I read so many reviews from horrible to great. The downfall of the internet!

i grabbed the flex. i wanted somethign that lets me have full access to my bed. So far, its been pretty good. I didnt like how the g2 rested against the back of the cab. I've run with the flex totally open at 70 mph and all was good.

Undercover Flex here, great cover and the rails are only held by three clamps if you need to remove
