I need to buy a transmission pan for my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 4x4. The pan has 15 bolts, but every search I do for a pan for year and model, comes up a 14 bolt pan which is smaller yet deeper. I cant find the tranny # on the trans. Any one know which one this may be? thanks

what exactly are you needing? do you need a gasket or something or do you just want to know what tranny you have for future reference?

545RFE, are you getting a stock replacement pan? or aftermarket? i know for sure that both PML and Mag Hytec both make really nice aftermarket pans for your truck.
