As an aside, someone mentioned that the passive unlock only worked with one hand. I had that experience until I found that it was sensitive to which pocket I had the FOB in. In my left pocket which I carry change (coins) it would not work!

2019 Ram 1500 Billet Silver Laramie Quad Cab 2WD, 5.7 Hemi, 8HP75, 3.21 axle, 33-gallon fuel tank, 18” wheels. Build Date: 3 June 2018. Now at 128633 miles.
I've tried with it in the pocket, in my hand, against the window, over near the drivers side (where it works on the driver door - left it there and walked around to the passenger door).

Could be the truck isn’t recognizing there is a FOB in close proximity on the right side. Try placing the FOB against the side glass when you grab the door handle. Kinda like placing the FOB against the glass when you close the door to keep the horn from honking 3 times…….only in reverse??
Tried holding it against the window and pressing the exterior lock button and grabbing at the handle to open/unlock - neither function worked.

But yes, it is acting almost as if there is no FOB within proximity to the passenger side.

I would pull back the rubber cover if you can on the wiring harness that is by the door hinges,
you could have a broken wire in there, although it's usally the drivers side as that gets used more.
you would have to take of the door panel I suppose, to figure out which wires are which
I have never had the handles off any of these, so don't know what plugs and such are on the handles , a wiring schematic / diagram would be handy
I may have missed it, does the door lock with the inside switch on that door? if not , then you have bad switch/ wires in that door.
nothing to do with the fobs.

You can set the computer to only unlock one door or all doors, so I would double check that again to make sure it set correct, I know you said you did that , but you could tell on the other doors if you have 4 doors.
I pulled back the rubber and all wired seem to be connected. The clip that attaches to the handle itself had 2 green wires (1 with purple stripe and 1 with orange stripe). They seem securely connected to the clip leaving the door and going into the truck body.

I'm curious if there is a fuse somewhere for the different doors.

That B25A4 fault in the radio frequency hub is the relevant one for your issue. It usually means the magnet is missing from the cap.
The door handles are two pieces- the handle itself, and the “cap” that the handle pulls away from when you pull on the handle.
When you swapped door handles to verify the issue, did you also swap the caps from side to side too?

I did not. I will try swapping the caps to see if that fixes the issue.

Boom! Took off end cap and paper clip did not stick. Swapped with the cap from driver side door and the passive entry worked. Conversely put cap originally on passenger side onto driver side and it did not work.

So, definitely the magnet on the cap from the passenger side handle is the culprit.

Is there a specific "cap" I can purchase or so I need to purchase a complete new handle assembly?

The cap on the right is from the driver side and works as it should. The cap on the left is the defective one.

Can’t tell which white that is:
6CV52GW7AB If your truck is PW7 bright white.
6CV52JWDAB If your truck is PWD ivory white.

AllMoparParts.com. You should be able to get the cap there. Submit your VIN to make sure you get the correct part and a color matched one! I have bought a replacement door handle set from them that was color matched.

Thank you guys - I have ordered the replacement and will update with results once installed.

Issue has been resolved. As Jimmy07 mentioned, the door handle cap was lacking a magnet. Ordered a new piece and spent 120 seconds to install. Passive entry works great on both front doors.

I’m having the exact same issue. How do you pull the cap to check it? Thanks in advance!
