So I screwed up, big time! Last night I was hooking up an Edge with Attitude tuner and I poked a hole in the grommet going through the firewall to run the wires into the motor compartment. Everything worked great! Well this morning I was driving into work and my ESC light was on and when it came to setting my cruise control it wouldn't engage. Got home and liked in the grommet and I cut two green wires while I poked the hole in the grommet. Anyone know of the best way to handle this?

Decide which end has more slack and pull the other end of the wires towards that side. So, if there’s more slack on the engine compartment side, pull the slack out and push it through the firewall and then use soldered fuse the 2 ends together and then a butt connector to secure it further and then tape it up and it should be ok. Just make sure that you’re connecting the correct wires together.

I did a bonehead similar and cut a main harness on my Jeep.

I had no room to run shrink sleeve or connectors. I ended up soldering and used split marine grade shrink sleeve from harbor freight.

Years of use with no issue.

Finally got it done this weekend, thanks for the help guys. Took about 3.5 hours, pulled the driver tire and wheel well of to make access a little easier but it was still a PITA! FYI AlfaOBD saved me another $150+- and a trip to the dealer since I was able to calibrate the Brake Position Sensor right off of it.
