I agree about the stigma Subaru owners have now. Hence the reason I parked mine and bought my truck. My STi will either be sold or turned into a track only car. All these stupid ass kids who buy them and then "stance" them really ruined a pretty good car scene.

That said I'm happy to be in the dodge family and really LOVE my truck. It really is the perfect truck in my opinion. Plenty of power with plenty of comfort and features. Not to mention better MPG than my STi gets.

See, what you don't know is he did that for a reason. That big river behind him, well what do you think is going to happen when it floods? He's got the best vehicle out of everyone in his area.

I don't know. I see a lot like that around Dayton. I can't stand a lifted car.

What are your thoughts on lifted trucks? I think they are compensating for something when they lift their truck. I understand a leveling kit but that is it. These trucks come from factory at a height that is more than enough to do everything the truck is designed to do.

I think up or down is a matter of preferrence, both in terms of appearance and functionality. Neither is better or worse than the other IMHO.

There are gorgeous trucks on this forum, lifted and lowered. To each his own. :)

I would take a lifted truck over a lowered one, but honestly I like stock height. Or at least just leveled. Lifted with big tires hurts performance.

I don't like ridiculously lifted trucks, though. When it's raised to the point of being pointless off-road as well as on-road is when I can only imagine they are trying to over-compensate for something.

I just never liked the look of lowered vehicles. No offense to anybody here, just personal preference.

Are you kidding me? My truck stock, I had to jack it up to change the oil. I shouldn't have to jack up a 4x4 to change the oil. I'm leveled now and have a lift and 35" tires sitting in my garage going on next month. Am I compensating? Yeah, for my small feet. :laughing1:

You had to jack your truck up to change the oil? Your truck must be a different stock height than mine. I had no problems changing the oil with the truck sitting in my driveway not jacked up.

You have a 3rd Gen, I have a 4th Gen Sport. The front was way low. Over 3.5" of rake. It sucked, but I love the Sport package. Doesn't matter after I leveled and won't be an issue at all after lifting.

I agree with that one, I love my QC and being leveled. Might even go to a 4" lift just cause but if I ever did drop a truck, it would be a standard cab and then make it a sleeper.

That's all a vehicle is though, your opinion. Just some peoples opinions go to far and they end up with 40 chrome fake air vents.

Small feet means small hands... lol!

Yeah, guess the 4th gens are much lower?

Mine is the same way, leveled with Bil 5100s and I can crawl under my truck with so much room to work, it's actually kind of scary how much room there is!

I am more of a lowered truck kinda guy, but I really like the stance that ^^^Cruizers truck has. Nice height, very proportionate to length, wheels, etc.

I just have enough room to work with my 2.8" up front. The Sport starts off low up front. Could probably remove the rear spacers and be level.

I'm not exactly little though. At 6'3" and 230, i don't exactly fit in small places, lol.

lol, trust me I know. I am 6'7" and 200 so that puts me on the skinny side or Ethiopian thin as my girl calls it.

Also helps I took of that stupid valance up front under the bumper so gains another inch with that gone.

Thank you. I'm a change it though next month, lol.

I'm not biased. I don't really mind anything someone has put time into. I had a lowered truck when I was in high school. S10 extended cab. Was nice and I had fun with it. Got stuck in driveways, it was slammed, lol. I don't get lifting cars really though, but hey its their thing I guess.
