Hemifever / Trinity question

Can I use the Trinity from my 12 model to load a custom tune for my 07 model if I wanted to try it? The older truck has a superchips and I love my Hemifever tune in my 12, so I was wondering if I could just try a tune in the old one before spending the money for the tuner itself. I know I'd have to pay for the new HF tune for the old truck, just want to "borrow" the Trinity for a try that's all.

The trinity will work on all applications as long as they have support for that year and model. You will have to load your original back up first to unmarry it. Once that is done it should just be plug and play.

That's what I was hoping for. Then I can use it back on the 12 model after that, correct? Should be able to? I really just want to see how a HF tune stacks up against the SC tuner. It'd be worth it for me to try. Thanks abunch.

You should be able to use the canned Diablo tunes but the HF tunes are Vin locked. But you could just ask Sean to be sure.

I was going to get a different tune for the other truck bc the one I have for the 12 won't work on the 07. I knew I would have to get a tune specifically for it. I wasn't going to bother wasting my time with the canned Diablo tunes on it I know they will fall short of the SC haha. If I notice a pretty good difference with the HF tune then I will already have it (the new tune)and all I would need then would be an Intune or Trinity to keep it in there ya know. Then I could put mine back in the other truck.
