HID lights

I got my HID lights about 6 months ago. 6k HID 55w now one of the lights has turned to a pink/red color. I'm at a loss as to why this has happen. Anybody got a clue as to why this would happen to just one light. The other one is just fine.

Where did you get it, one of the bulbs has prob just went bad

Possibly the bulb. Sometimes I've heard the ballast can go bad and change the voltage causing the color change, but also heard the bulb can do this, and sometimes bad wiring overheating.

Test the ballast out. Switch the ballast to the other side.

I'm sure JJ will chime in soon also...but I'd also switch the ballast to test.

Finally had time to check everything and yep BAD BULB. Starts out white then turns almost a brite purple when fully energized.
So RMA for a new bulb.
