I'm interested in seeing where that yellow connector goes to. If that runs to something that triggers when the high beams are hit......then you are golden (would just need a different plug on it to match the new one.

At any rate, I'm going to send you all the stuff, hell - it if works on the truck with what you have - thats awesome dude. And, well...you know - you paid for it all!

Ok fellas, a slight change in a few plans here - but trust me, its for the better!

On a recent kit that I completed it was found that the harnesses supplied with the kits (though stated to work with the finicky Rams) didn't work as expected. This is 100% unacceptable to me. I am not putting my name on stuff that doesn't work. So, a change the supplier for the HID kits is in order.

What does this mean for the GB participants?

• First off - NO CHANGE IN THE PRICE! I have quoted a price, I stand by it. I may not be getting the same "deal", but I trust that they will work - and thats worth a lot more to me than a few more bucks in my wallet.
• Kits that are made for the Dodge Rams specifically, by a trusted vendor on another site (Todd @Retro-Solutions - and when I talk to him next week..........I'll see if I can get him to hop over here!)
• All kits will have a full harness - again, made to work perfectly with your truck. Spotty performance on the plug n play setup doesn't fly for me.
• Bulb selections change a bit (4300, 6K and 8K offerings now, 5K removed)
• Warranty changes - HID kits will now carry a LIFETIME warranty! (old setup was 12 months)

He shows 5K, but when we talked today - he didn't have it in stock. It would probably be a few weeks out before a new shipment comes in. Not sure if he stocks 5K to be honest with you.

I have had 4300s, 5Ks, 6Ks and 8Ks. 4300s were the BRIGHTEST, but in my stock housing (08) they had a slight yellow tinge to them. I haven't seen them in a projector yet.

Glad you got the harness thing sorted out. I am sorry that I was the bearer of bad news about the other harness, but at least it was before they got sent out for the GB and you had multiple people with issues.

Update on mine: I had to get creative with them, but in short I used the old harness on the drivers side and the other harness on the passenger side. This got rid of all issues for me. I have no flicker issues and no lamp out. I drove for a few hours tonight and it is all good.
