Well it seems that "back" button's only function is to return from select sub menus (doesn't work on all sub menus). It doesn't return you from apps to radio as an example. Pretty useless if you ask me. If your going to reach down and push a button, you might as well use the screen.

Yeah there's something different about your vehicle then. I have a bed camera that is on the screen and the reverse is in the rear view.

I noticed if I go forward and backwards a few times the backup cam stays on longer on my 5.0 screen.

Also no storage under the front center seat on my 14 crew express 1500.

When I saw the front seat storage I got so excited and ran out to my truck.

My 14 express crew does not have it.

Quad cab only maybe? I noticed I have heater vents under the middle for the rear, do the quad cabs have them.

I have a 14 1500 Crew and it has storage under the front seat. Granted it's not much cause the CD player that I will never use is in there but gives some storage.

Maybe it is mentioned in the many previous pages, but we just discovered this cute one;

In the Navigation screen, if you go to options, you can change the Icon on the nav map to show yourself as either the Blue Triangle (default), to a Viper (Corvette?), or a White 1500 Ram with sunroof and maybe one more. To bad you cannot choose your specific truck (color/model, etc). But, we thought it was pretty neat.

Finally got through all the pages... learned a couple of things.

First - this is not really a hidden feature but more of a "I'm an idiot for not reading the manual." I wondered what the + and - were on my column shifter... so at a stop I kept hitting - but didn't nothing anything happen. I took off and wondered why the engine was revving like crazy at 40mph. I then noticed the little number next to the D on my screen and I was in 1st great. :)

I haven't seen anyone mention this.. but it's minor. With the FOB you don't have to hold it to the right to start the truck. Just quickly flip to the right and let it go. It's all electronic so no need to hold it until the truck starts like older cars. I found this by accident. :)

For those commenting on the rear in-floor "storage", they are actually designed to be ice chests. If you look at the 2014 Ram sales literature it shows one loaded with ice/drinks. That is why the inner tubs come out. I've used it once and it did fine. Probably not as good as a real ice chest though.

Noticed if you turn the light dimmer all the way down so the ash tray light turns off at night that the int lights don't turn on when you open the doors.

I have read most of the post to this thread and have not seen this posted but just incase I missed it sorry for the double posting.

On the 2012 bighorn I noticed that my drivers side window when it is in the operation of powering up the window will stop and lower the window if it feels a jarring motion. Has anyone else experienced this?

Comment and a Question:

Question; Is there any way to get the radio to play back just the one first song (or put it in a endless loop) when in "Replay" mode? I see the slider with timer, but wondered if there was a quick and easy way just to play that one song, or tap and select between previous songs "recorded" before going back to "Live" radio.

Comment / Feature; Just found today (Almost a year later) that the "Map" Icon on the right of the Sat Radio Screen plops a smaller version of the Nav Map right in the middle, to ease the use of both functions at once. Never knew that, even though it was right in front of my face!

Thanks for posting! I did not know this. Wifey always raises hell when I scare her or bump her arm when I power up her window unexpectedly.

I wonder how many folks will now be out there pounding on their windows while it goes up and down? I know I gotta go try it! :pepper:

not sure if this was posted or not:
while listening to media (usb, sd, didnt try it over BT), the left back wheel button for previous-next, if you press it and just hold it, it will FF (or FR) through the current song.
