Was it mentioned yet that on the satellite radio you have an option to add a song or artist to favorites and it will automatically alert you when it's on even when you're listening to regular radio?

I've starred some songs, but have yet to have it notify me. Will have to tag some artists and see how that works.

So sad. Doesn't work on my truck...
2013 Ram 1500 SLT v6/8psd with Uc5.0 and camera.

Does this work on anyone's UC 5.0 radio or just the 8.4A?

You guys ever notice that advancing preset radio stations using the steering wheel controls doesn't work when listening to AM?

I've had mine hit on "fav" songs and artists.

I sure wish a little chime or something would go off when it hit on something, so I could notice it and go there while driving. All it seems to do is put a Green Star in a border above the channel marker. 90% of the time while I am driving I miss it. My son keeps one eye on it from the passenger seat and caught a couple. Neat feature, wish (for once) that something was a little more invasive.

I have the 5.0 and it makes a little "ding" and takes up the whole screen when a fav comes on.

You mean you want to hear a beep when a favorite song comes on? Hit browse (Big round knob on right on 8.4an), go to favorites, then alert settings. you can choose to have a visual or visual+audible notification. I tells me all the time and then I hit the green writing in the upper left corner that tells me a favorite is on to hear it

You can set it to chime to let you know a favorite song/artist is playing. I think it was in the XM radio settings.

This isn't really hidden... or an intended feature - but it's cool. I have a '14 2500 with a pull-down arm rest/cup holder in the back seat. This makes a perfect saddle stand for my wife's english saddle. :)

To return to your first programmed preset on your radio (using steering wheel controls - left side controls), press the bottom then center button (independently not at the same time).

Ahh, that is the answer I was looking for. Thanks guys. Any clue on how to rewind to just the beginning of the favorite song, or make it "loop" once I see it and go there?

You can turn your seatbelt 'ding" off by following a process... if anyone is interested I will find a link!

My '13 outdoorsman has heated mirrors but I cannot figure out how to turn them on. Can anyone help with that?

On the front panel under the front defrost button there is another button that has a square with wavy lines on it. It is the rear defrost button but controls the heated mirrors.
