I think the OP should start the list of hidden features on the very first page. For me to go through 40 pages would take hours! Nay or Yay?

Mine only blinked twice when I did that. I was hoping for an option to change the number of blinks (I prefer 4 or 5), but I couldn't find anything.what about tapping your turn signal up or down just before it clicks and your signal will blink 3 times and stop. I like it for lane changes or merging.
I am not sure where you guys are buying your trucks but your salesperson should be doing a delivery with you and should know all of these features and show you how they work. If you purchased on recently go back and make them do it for you, its part of what you are paying for! Should not have to figure out how to work your new truck!

Didn't see this listed but there is a setting in the EVIC that automatically moves the driver's seat back when the engine turns off and moves it forward (to set position) when engine is started. I actually like this better than my Lexus, in which the steering wheel simply goes in and then raises. Moving the seat makes more sense.

I couldn't figure out why my heated seats were not coming on.(probably in the manual)
I fooled around with the settings and still they wouldn't come on no matter what I did.
The other day I hopped in my truck after a remote start and low and behold my heated seats and steering wheel were on. It would appear it's based on the ambient temperature sensor and from what I discovered the heated seats won't come on unless the temperature is below 5 degrees!
Same goes for cooled seats but unsure of what that temperature needs to be.
Did you know your new ram came with a transmission (8sd) that they say in the manual requires no fluid or filter change... EVER!!! it says unless it gets contaminated by water or other the fluid and filter are good for the life of the vehicle.

Lastly for those with remote starts, nothing works until you hit the start button except for the radio volume control and the radio switches on the steering wheel.
That's all I got, not really hidden features but more of a heads up in case anyone wondered.![]()
On mine I can set this to happen is I remote start the truck or just "regular start" the truck.
As far as temperature thresholds go, they don't seem to be the same every time (for me anyway), I actually think it somehow figures out the temp inside the truck and bases it off of that - I've had the cooled seats come on when it was like 10 celsius out (sun beaming right into the window) and the heated seats/steering wheel come on when it was 11 celsius out. Its really sweet!
Or the life of the transmission, which ever comes first![]()
My '11 you can put either heated or cooled seats (and heated steering wheel) at any temp. Wonder if that's something new - odd that you can't change the temperature threshold seeing as hot/cold is such a subjective thing.
Are you talking about only after a remote start, or all the time? Remote start heat/cool is definitely temperature dependent.
