hids bulb?

I was looking into getting hids for my 98 ram 1500( bulb size 9004). My understanding is to run high and low beam hids I would need the bi-xenon bulbs. Is this correct?

You have 2 options. One is the bi-xenon you mentioned which does BOTH the high and low in HID. It just shifts the hid bulb.

The other option is where the low beam is hid, but the high beam remains halogen.
