Hid's buzzing

Well recently the Hid's in my fog lights started buzzing when I unlock the truck. I do plan on replacing them soon because I think they're cheap but for now I want to know what could be the problem? It buzzes from the driver side fog light when I unlock the truck or turn them on or off and it's also been acting up a lot to where it does not want to turn on half the time. Anyone had this issue before? Like I said I am going to replace them soon and get a kit from jj but I want to know if this will be a problem I will have to fix before I get the other set.

A buzzing makes me think of a relay is there any sort of relay ran with your HIDs that kicks the lights on when you unlock the doors? Also it could just be a bad ballast since your stating it doesn't even turn on sometimes?? Just a couple ideas to build off of

buzzing from the HIDs sometimes means that they aren't getting enough power. I'd turn off the illuminated entry - HIDs don't seem to like that crap!

No relay but I'll try turnin off that illuminated entry and see of that does anything if the ballast went out I guess it's time to replace them

Well after a week of making the buzzing sound it just won't turn on anymore. I think it's probably the ballast but I'll just get a whole new set of fogs so I can get the fogs and headlights matching
