Can anyone tell me what this is for? I can’t seem to find anything on it, I don’t have a hood light and I can drive with hood open with no warnings, bought new 23

I'm thinking after-market hood switch for a remote starter. Have you ever tried hitting your lock button 3 times? A lot of them use that as the sequence.
