Good day. I am here to learn and share. I recently purchased the beauty in my profile pic. I found it (I am in CA, so I don't know whether to call it a he or she...yet) in a field. It's a 94, single cab, short bed, 4x4. I think it's the most awesome body style there is. Bought it for $500. Turns out the engine is done. So now... an engine swap. I got a used engine out of a junk yard (with 30k fewer miles than the original). I'm replacing all the easy stuff while I have the engine on a stand. You know.. Timing set, water pump, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, spark plugs, etc.

Anyhow, enough rambling. I'm glad to be here. I will share my progress along the way. Hopefully someone else can learn from my project.

Welcome from the Hill Country in Texas. Glad to have you here. Sounds like you got a job in front of you. Good luck on your engine swap and bring us along for the ride as you work through it.
