I got a preowned ‘17 sport 1500 and am curious as to how you know what gears you have. And how do you know is you have the LSD or an open diff. Thanks

Okay I have the 3.21 and a conventional differential. I would like the LSD and 3.91 gears. What’s the best way to go about doing that and is it even worth it to go through the trouble?

You have 2wd or 4x4? I’m just guessing but I would say it’s going to be about $1,000 for 2wd. Parts are not too bad, it’s the labor.

Are you planing on putting bigger tires on or you want it for a quicker acceleration/sport?

Since I have a 2wd I’m going for the quicker take off. Not really planning on bigger tires but I might go with some 20x12 with 33s eventually. I’m planning on doing a bunch of bolt on stuff to increase performance.

Go all out and do 4.10

Going to that from 3.21 would be worth the $ I would say. Best of luck.

Moe's Performance has the new gears and the installation kit you will need for your gear swap. He also has any of the bolt on performance parts you will need. He is a preferred vendor on this site.
