How do tow hooks sit on sport bumper?

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a set of oem tow hooks for my '16 sport. I'm curious how close the tow hooks sit to the bumper for anyone who has done it.

I've seen fourms talking about the possibility of rubbing and the hooks practically resting on the bumper when installed. Just wanted some second opinions before I get a set.

I have a 2012 sport and they look fine... think 13 and up the front changed though..

I put them on a few months ago on my express. They are definitely close to the bumper without custom relocation brackets. Though I’m taking mine off.

The low hang is what I've feared, I'm looking to paint my hooks red and I would not like that to rub off on my black paint.

I definitely like the way those brackets hold the hooks. I had no clue someone fabbed a custom set until now

Yup, the plastic piece pops out real easy.. then just use a dremel to cut out the section you need.

Here's how they sit on a 2015 Sport with a lightbar. The trim on the black insert is the only thing keeping them from rubbing the bumper.

Do they make a bracket you can buy to make them relocate like yours? I have been wanting to do this to mine

Thats a good look. What color is your truck. Looks black in the picture. My eyes are terrible I’m getting old.

I installed a set of tow hooks on my RAM Sport last weekend with the OEM connectors and they appear to not be as low as some of the other ones pictured here.
