How long can a 3.6 Pentastar Ram Last in miles?

How long can a Ram with the 3.6 pentastar v6 engine last in miles?

Truck is a 2013 ST Double cab 4x4 and has 138000 miles.

Can they last more?

If oil change every 10000 miles with Synthetic.

Anyone with High Mileage 3.6 v6 ram?

I have a Pentastar/8 speed in my ‘12 Charger. Has over 150k on it. Still gets 30+ mpg on the highway.

From what I've researched, they can last a *very* long time if treated right.

Now as for the 8-spd transmissions? Gonna have to figure out how to swap out that ZF fluid @60k to 75k miles...

He also said 10K mile oil changes.....unless he's using synthetic media oil filters he's probably mostly in bypass mode by 7-8K miles. I'd probably cut that interval to 5-6K miles tops unless you're using Redline or Amsoil. I bet those wear numbers are awful on your "typical" OTC synthetics. I would recommend a UOA after your next oil change and then you'll have the answer to your question.

I go about 8k in the Charger between conventional oil changes at the dealer.

I just wait till the oil change message pops in both. One one oil change in the Ram so far. Has 18k on it. Bought it last August.

No. Conventional. Wasn’t even black when changed. Darker yes, but not black.
