Im skeptical on spacers..Ive heard mixed feelings about them..should I just stick with a 305 or a 295 tire?

If you have the chrome Clads you would need spacers with 305 tires and can possibly fit 295's. If you have the painted 20's you can fit 305's

Im in the same boat. I`m getting a 2.5" Leveling kit installed this month and would love to get 35x12.5 MTZs but I though they would still never fit and I would have to settle with 33x12.5. I was given some nice aftermarket rims which I have installed at the moment with Duratracs 285/70/17 but time to move up a little (plus I hate those tires...) so I dont know how these will fit with larger tires and my Ram (compared to the stock rims mentionned above) Here are the rims I have Dale Earnhardt Jr. Signature Series Wheel Collection - Item Display

If anybody here knows of hand that 35x12.5x17 will fit on those rims and my truck, or even 33" your help would be greatly appreciated. This offset and backspacing thing has got me really confused.... :S

Welcome to RF! I'm sure one of the lift gods will chime in soon. It seems with a normal 1500 the 2/3 inch level will clear 35's, but like stated, Power wagons suspension is a little different, thus the need for a 4" lift to accomodate 35's.

Which type of truck do you have?

Thanks! I've been getting all the info/answers for my truck on this site. Never had to post yet because I could always search and find my answer. But this time I want to make %100 sure these tires will fit my rims and truck before I spend $$$. By the way, I think this forum is by far the best on for Rams...lot of arguing and other non-sense on those other forums...

My truck is a 10' Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 Crew Cab.

Kinda weird that a powerwagon can't fit 35s without a level but a normal 2500 cummins 4x4 can

With the mopper level kit you can fit the open country 35s I did it on my 11. I just got the 12 and put a 4 inch rancho it will be done tomorrow. They have to cut the wheel well a little to fit open country 37s I have to load all my pics tomorrow your going to love the toyos they ride great

You can do a 2 inch level. They will clear fine. The 35/12.5 is perfect. The 13.5 will rub a little I found out the hard way. I just did the rancho 4 inch with 37/13.5 and I had to cut a little. But well worth it. The toyos are the best tires I have ever had they wear real well.
