Can you post a few pictures of the wiring that you do have?

I am pretty sure I have the connectors and pins to replace the ones that were cut off. Shoot me a PM, and I'll see what I can do for you. Were you really going to try and swap the whole body harness in your truck or just strip out the wiring that you need?

My heated seats didn't work until after I put the 8.4 bezel and HVAC module in. I wasn't sure if it was that, the fact I had the battery disconnected, or a coincidence. I believe that 69mach1 recently had the same issue and his was fixed when he did the bezel conversion as well.

I can't explain why it is, but I think there's some dependency there.

I haven't checked my fuses yet but will for sure. I'm not overly worried at this point. I have the Hvac ordered off eBay. So just waiting for Mike to get to my harness. Just one more guy ahead of me. So once I get that I'll get to testing more if my seats don't come back one. The power still works in them for now

I was planning to swap a complete harness, but now I'm not sure what i'm going to do.

Hard to say, I know my XM was working fine until I hit something that looked for Uconnect and then my XM radio went away and I needed to pay for a subscription :flipthebird: As far as your dash switches I'm betting the dash switches are programmed individually for the combinations of options, also the boards are not all the same. See my factory board below, it had only 4 switches yet more than 4 switches are populated with LED's.(all the little white chips are LED's) also note the lower row has some spots populated with 2 LED's for the heated seats but not the cooled seats.
I gave Benny the year of my truck and the options I wanted and he got me the part number to order. Once I swapped it with my stock switch all the switches illuminated properly, they just didn't stay on. Once I swapped in the factory 8.4 bezel and 4 spd harness the heat/cool seats worked :happy107: (I need to mention my 8.4RA4 took a rest for 1/2 a day before the volume started working again) I'm, a happy camper now :favorites13: This forum and it's members have been most helpful and supportive, a special shout out to Mike & Mike for the great work they are doing, I wouldn't be this far without them :favorites13:

Well today none of it is working. Not sure if it is doing the turn on for 20 seconds before going off. Since none of the lights work. Seemed like everything sort of reset. Had to go in & get my XM radio switched. XM was working & then shut off. Also my Aux input isn't working. Not sure if getting them all turned on for soft keys will make them live again or what?

Hopefully once you get it all in your seats will start to work again. If not deffenetly start by checking your connections and your power and ground. One thing to note is you can buy the Bighorn with the heated seats and wheel option with the standard 5.0 radio. There aren't that many around but I have seen them. A long time ago we had a member who had the heated seats and wheel with the 5.0 radio. When he upgraded to the 8.4 radio he lost the heated seats. He did not have the full conversion. He was using the OEM auto bezel. They would stay on for a few seconds and then flash and turn off. Not sure what he was able to figure out. He never posted the outcome but it does show that the radio can cause an issue with the seats for some reason. When you say the truck reset are you talking about the radio reseting? Also when you start the truck does it say Ram or Uconnrct when the radio first boots up?

My radio comes on with Ram first. Then goes to Uconnect after. On my truck resetting yes I mean the radio. Although I did have a check engine light that came on briefly. That went off the same time my radio reset. So think there was more that reset than just the radio. I do see the seat & wheel coming on the radio screen briefly at the top right side. It is on for no more than 2 seconds before it shuts off on the screen. I didn't find any fuses blown. So seems the issues to me are tied together. My radio also has Nav but isn't coming up for me. Shows it's last location in Canada. So not sure if that is one of those things after so many key starts. The GPS will finally clue in & get that working. Or if because I didn't have Nav before. If I need it enabled in CAN before that will start to work

No the Nav should work. It is not CAN enabled. It should pick up where you are. Have you try ed inputting an address near you and seeing if it will try to navigate you? I had a couple that thought they were in another state until I imput an address near and told it told navigate. On another note it's good that your radio shows the Ram logo at start up. It shows that the radio knows what vehicle it is in.

Just tried putting in an address. Still showed it as coming from Canada. So didn't fix it. Do you think the radio is the problem? Or do I need to just give it a little time. I've seen a few guys have issues that go away after a week of driving & cycling on a off. When I pull up where are you. Just gives the address in Canada. When I touch GPS in there it shows all zero's

It's also good that the wheel and seat is showing up briefly on the radio. That shows the CSWM is communicating on the CAN.

Stupid question but does your XM work? Your radio picks up your satellite signal from the XM antena. Are yoy sure it was plugged in securely? The radio should have picked up a signal by now. I have never had the Canadian version but I don't think it would be any different than the U.S. version.

XM works just fine. Other than the reset & needing to get my subscription switched over. It has worked with zero problems

Found this on uconnect website:

Check to make sure the map is in the correct Country and State by following these simple steps:

1. Press the voice command button on the steering wheel and say, ““Change Country”. From there, select the correct Country and State.

2. Or, go to the Uconnect System’s NAV menu. Then, go to Find Address and enter the correct Country and State.

Hope it helps!!!

I tried the second with no luck. Still keep thinking I'm in Canada. Can't get it to get a live signal for some reason. Everything is seated right on the back. I'll give it a few days to see if something changes

Yes the screen tells me that. I am parked by a major road with nothing around me. Still makes no difference

Did you going into the engineering mode and try a factory reset??? Sorry, if that's been asked but reading back I didn't see anything about it.

Not sure what you mean by engineering mode. So I doubt I have done that. How do I go about it?
