Simple green car wash from any Canadian tire type store

-pour straight into spray bottle
-spray straight onto vehicle
-let soak for ten
-spray off with hose

Cleans everything off every time and its only 5 bucks a jug.

I'd try kerosene... just sop it all over the bugs and let it sit a while... may need to scrub a bit.

Most bug n' tar remover seems to be just buffered kerosene.

Clay bars last a long while. One session shouldn't kill one

I always thought so - I've had them last a long time but earlier this year I used a new one up on a buddy's truck that hadn't seen a good washing ffor a while.

First try WD 40 It's the best road tar remover. If that doesn't work use Naptha. That works getting the leftover glue off when you debadge.

50/50 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water in a spray bottle. Spray it on, let it soak, then use a soft rag soaked with the same solution to clean them off. It'll break down the (basically) protein of the dried-on bug guts for easy removal. Works like a charm and is super safe for your paint - with no abrasion risk.

Elbow grease does work great. Use a sham cloth or one of those space age microfibers.
