How to get the outside air temp to show on my UConnect 8.4. Screen Using Alfaobd

How to enable outside air temp on 8.4 UAQ Software version 40.1 screen using alpha obd? I have the compass and OAT on the 7 inch Evic but wanted the temp to show on the 8.4 screen also. The compass I guess only shows in Nav screen and evic or can you also get that to show on the 8.4 on top middle of screen? Or did they remove that feature in software updates? Also does it take a while for the computer to recognize it after?

I have an ra 3 with this same issue I tried the 4c I’m upgrading to and it was there same sw version as yours.Im not sure but I don’t think there’s anything in alpha to change it .

I did find this and tried enabling but still waiting for it to appear on the screen on 8.4 UAQ.

Not sure if it will enable what I want it to or not.

Well it actually worked but now its in celsius and so is my ac temperature inside. I didn’t mess with the units and its on US and still wont switch back to fahrenheit but my evic shows the outside temp in fahrenhiet. Any ideas how to get it back?

Never mind it reverted back to Celsius again on the 8.4 for my outside temperature and inside temperature.

I ended up just putting everything back to default and using the evic for outside air temp.

Yeah and the Units in the evic and still showed Celsius. Its definitely Merican unit lol. When I did the battery reset it did show in Fahrenheit but changed back on next key cycle so Im good with it just showing in evic. I can always stick my head out the window and know the temperature outside if needed lol.

Might look at the settings again and see if there are some different options in alpha but make a backup first

Note: On my 8.4", it shows temp (in imperial) and compass heading. In Cust.Set.Menu.2 the "Tempature Unit CSM Present:" is set to No. That is actually the way it is spelled in the menu.

Im also referring to the outside air temperature reflecting on the 8.4 screen not just the 7inch Evic Premium Cluster not the temperature for the ac and heat

The 8.4 radio is what I am referring too, also (have premium cluster also). But, mine is a 2016 and yours is a '20, so there may be some differences on this outside air temp programming..

What I found helps me is that I printed the text of the program into a PDF file, then I can search for key words with Acrobat Pro.

I finally got it to work. Not sure how to add the compass at the top on the 8.4 radio with alpha obd but its on the bottom of my Nav button and on my evic.
