Id recommend the catch can to everyone...it catches the oil that would go into your throttle body and intake...it doesn't really help with performance, however it will help prolong the life of your engine, and it prevents the oil from getting into the combustion chamber which can lower your fuel octane...I know some people have gotten the cheaper brands on here but I went with the billet tech one from moes performance, Matt is a very good guy and easy to work with, im sure other guys can get into a lot more detail about the catch can but from the threads ive read in a nutshell that's what it does...I havnt installed much on my truck yet...im still stuck in Afghanistan for another month or so...I really don't know what to tell you about getting the truck to spin...I saw on another thread you have the 3.55 gears which arnt really made for acceleration they are more for fuel mileage, do you have a LSD or do you have an open diff, I know in 2010 the LSD was an option for the 3.55 gears but idk if that's the case anymore so your truck will be a one wheel wonder unless you get the factory LSD

Cheap way to disable T/C is hit the button on the dash and then put it into tow mod. I can smoke my tires all day long doing that and that was before the tuner I have.

You can pull the abs pump or valve fuse.. Only reccomend that for the track.

Not the case. :beatdeadhorse5:

The only way to kill it is to pull the fuse to the ABS module.
I've though about running an interrupt switch to the cab.

Just in those situations where I need to do a burnout.:winner_first_h4h:

I just don't understand why Chrysler does that. On my G8 when I hit the button it's 100% off. I don't want to have to remove a fuse to do that. Especially if it's tied into the ABS system. Of course, it wouldn't be hard to put a switch inline with the ABS fuse to allow you to turn it off and on when needed.

That is exactly what I did in my Jeep Wranglers. Just break a quick interupt in the circuit is all it took on the Jeeps. Disables ABS, ESP, TC. I used an on/off toggle. You can also do it in the Chargers, etc. I'm sure the Rams will be similar.

There are tons of results if you search the web for "Disable <insert vehicle> ESP" This is what I did. and for general reference. http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/showthread.php?t=84348

Buzz Kill Alert: While I can see why you'd want to lay peel at the track, other than smoking the occasional teenager at a red light, all you're really going to accomplish is early tread wear and maybe get ticketed for demonstration of speed and power (or whatever the local vehicular nuisance ordnance is).
Maybe I'm just getting old....:Good or Bad:

I controlled mine on my Jeeps for off-roading purposes. I like to be in control, not some computer, when playing around. Everyone who does this mod had their reasons. I say to each their own; just drive safe and assume responsibility.

Sent from my happy place...
