How to tint turn reflectors/diffusers

I am planning on installing Oracle SMD Led Demon eyes and painting my headlights soon. I want to leave the lens clear so that my headlight output stays the same, but I am curious about the side reflector/diffuser and the mirror for the turn signals (and possibly the headlight bulbs). Is it legal to paint/tint these? Also, if I paint/tint the turn signal mirror will it diminish the brightness (a lot)? Lastly, if I decide to do this, is there a how to anywhere? I can handle the oracle kit and painting the housing, but the turn signal/headlight mirror and side diffuser/reflector are what I'm curious about. Thanks!

I believe it's illegal to tint any marker lights in most, if not all states. I received a warning for my tinted tails on the G8. Doesn't mean I changed it though.

Just don't go too dark and you'll be good!

Ok. I was more lookingfor opinions on the brightness and a how to. I know how to tint lenses but not the side reflector or the mirrors for the headlights/ turn signals
