Hvac module missing

Hi. I recently upgraded my stereo from basic am fm Xm no Bluetooth to an 8.4 uconnect I bought here on the forum. I bought a new bezel from infotainment which included a hvac upgrade. All seems to be working well but a scan for codes keeps showing a missing hvac module. Is this normal?

When you say "a hvac upgrade", do you mean the dash controls or the actual HVAC module that mounts behind the passenger side kick panel?

Yes. The upgrade that infotainment.com sells with the new bezel which includes the new hvac module.
