I recently changed my gears to 4.56 and now I'm wondering what is a better way to go with a tune. The hypertech speedometer calibrator costs $199 and will compensate for my 38s and 4.56 gears. Is it worth buying the diablo tuner and hemifever tune for $489 to compensate for Vararam and an 87mm throttle body? Thanks for any input.

Yes it would be worth it. You would gain some power to go along with the adjustability of the trucks basic function. For that matter a Bullydog tuner would work almost as good and save you alittle money also.

I was going to go with the Diablo DCX and buy it from hemifevertuning.com since it would come with a tune. If i went with bully dog where is a good place to get a tune for it?

The Bullydog comes with a canned tune. Its not custom tunable.

Awesome, another decision. Diablo custom tune or Bully Dog. :argue:

With all your plans and changes..... it's a pretty easy decision. DS + hemifever tune all the way.

You've got a lot going on and $$ invested.... why the Cookie Cutter tune?

Let us know how you like the tune when installed. I'm in the same boat trying to decide between tuners!
