Hi everyone, it’s been a little bit since we’ve had time to work on the truck. With the end of the school you’re coming my son had to focus on studying for his final exam exams instead of working.

That being said. Today I’m changing the radiator, both radiator hoses and the drive belt. My son bought a nice new CSF radiator and Gates belt and radiator hoses. I have the old parts removed in the pictures here and I see quite a significant oil leak. I’m trying to figure out where it’s coming from. It looks to be leaking around the power steering pump and around the block near the thermostat housing.

If anybody has any knowledge of what these leaks most commonly are, please let me know. Also if you see anything else that looks out of place or ready to be replaced, while im in here I’m open to suggestions. Thanks
The power steering pump is above it. Check to see if the reservoir is low. I’m going through this right now on my Jeep Wrangler

ITS ALIVE! We got it moving under its own power. Liam and I finally got the brakes installed and bleed and quickly started up the truck and moved it to mow the grass under it lol. We will be installing the radiator and a new idler pulley/tensioner on Friday. I will be using leak detection dye in the engine and in the power steering pump to determine where the oil leaks are coming from. We will also be ordering new front fenders and a chrome front bumper shortly. Then we will be moving onto the rear, suspension and rear brakes and repairing the rusted rocker panels and bedside.

It’s hard to tell because it’s missing the front end panels and bumper, but it definitely has a nicer ride height now.
