A hemi ram is in no way comparable to what you saw with your focus. There are multiple Ram trucks making anywhere from 380-400hp to the wheels with just bolt ons and tuning. The supercharged guys are making anywhere from 420-500hp to the wheels based on their other mods.

His 360hp number is probably about 15-20hp higher than I would expect, but again, that can easily be off based on which dyno is used, who is driving it, and whether they are showing corrected or uncorrected numbers.

Ok . So all one would need to do is get...
Intake- 10hp
TB- 10hp
Exhaust- 10hp
Tuner- 30hp
Catch can- 20hp
Headers-15hp
Racing stickers- 20hp

115hp!!

This is exciting.

So for around $3400, you can add 100hp.

Hey don't forget his yellow stickers add 50hp.

And by his math the R/T should be at 600hp now SWEET!!! ... :roflsquared:

When I get a chance I plan to take the R/T to my buddies show and throw it on the dyno to 1. help tune it and 2 figure out the power combinations and how things I do to it has effected it and to give real world feedback to everyone else.

If those gains were true I imagine he would be dyin to post his dyno sheet.

With that being said, a good tune is worth quite a bit of HP. The number and of good tunes I have seen, especially on a Hemi, are far and few between. The timing on our trucks is seriously conservative. You can feel it when you drive around. Get into the top of second or third and lean on it a bit, not WOT, you can hear the flatness of the engine, this is lazy timing under load. Abuse management and traction control eat up most of the 1-3. With a custom tune and the intake and exhaust opened up. I don't think 30-35 is out of the question, I also don't just anyone can do that custom tune either.

While I do agree, you have to realize because of how efficient chamber design is and etc, you do not need to run a lot of timing anyway. In fact it will hurt it more then help it. These engines are still pretty toned down to what they could be.

With numbers like that, it looks like someone recently received a package from Colorado :smoke2:

It was.. I bought that after my first couple weeks in CA.. This place isn't truck friendly. But I put tons of money into it and the issue is the tiny turbo, and fwd. other than that, it was a fast car for it's class, and a lot of good tuners out there. Torque monster is what that car is, really had to pay attention to throttle pressure or you'll be spinning the tires off effortlessly. But 4 months later, went back to a Ram.

This is why I use the track for testing, and not the dyno. I have seen as much as a 30hp difference from 1 dyno or 1 dyno operator to the next. I don't think the guy is lying to you. 10hp from intake, 10hp from throttle body, 10hp from exhaust, and 30hp from custom tune would put him around 345hp after the mods. Being only about 15hp away from what he claimed is easily explainable by just being on a different dyno or having a different person driving the truck on the dyno.

These trucks are tough to dyno as it is without making it downshift into 2nd or upshift into 2nd prime. I wouldn't get to worked up over someone's dyno numbers. Take it to the track and see how it performs there.

Dyno's do differ and the reason why I like a Mustang dyno cause its load bearing and the software is next to none. Plus our's has the optional 1/4 race simulator. :naughty: Took a bone stock 13 QC Ram and made 250 rwhp for the base number. Than added an E-Force supercharger kit and made 355 rwhp. Same truck than made 426 rwhp on a Dynojet. Whether 355 or 426 rwhp, I'm sure he's bragging about the higher numbers it put down, however whichever number he chooses the truck will run the same number at the track.
