I bought my truck and had a year free trial period of Uconnect. It rarely (if ever) worked correctly. 99% of the time when I tried to send a voice text I got a message "Data connection unavailable." I asked my dealership about it, no ideas. Never heard of that problem, must be my phone. Maybe, except the same phone worked perfectly with Uconnect on my Challenger...... I asked about it here, more than once. No one had any suggestions that worked, and no one had ever had the problem. So my trial period ended. Uconnect sent me all kinds of "Come back to us" messages. I ignored them. Why on earth would I pay for something that doesn't work? Can't use the text feature, and my truck doesn't have remote start. So a few months go by and I get a new phone and provider. I figure why not check and see if the phone was the problem. I called Uconnect, told them what had happened, and what I had done. I asked if they could turn it on for a few days, week at most. They said all they could do was check my account and see if there was any kind of free promotions for the account. If there wasn't I was going to have to purchase the service for a year, but could cancel any time I wanted. I thanked them for nothing and hung up. What fantastic customer service
