I'm considering putting 35's on my truck in the future. If I do this with I also need to upgrade my spare tire also in the event I get a flat or can I get away with the stock spare tire. If I get a flat I don't plan on driving on the spare long just time to get it repaired.

You would be leaning to that one corner but if it is just for a short time you'll would be fine.

you can keep stock spare tire size, but if you ever get a flat on the front DONT REPLACE THE FRONT TIRE WITH THE SPARE. take a full size tire off the rear and put it on the front and put the spare on the rear.

If the flat is in the rear and you have lsd you're screwed with one smaller diameter

Not necessarily, but it will induce unneeded stress on the rear axle as a whole, btas long as it's fixed within 20 miles of driving like that he shouldn't have an issue.

good way to wreck your rear end, better off just upgrading the spare

doesn't anyone happen to know how big of a spare will actually fit under the truck?

Upgrade the spare and rotate it in.
