I would buy the RAM truck line from FCA. Start making real trucks again instead of these over-computerized shiny grocery getters...
- eliminate ALL computerized crap from the truck. No more CANbus, no more relying on a tuner to change gears, radios, whatever.
- two truck lines, 1500 short beds for the girls, 2500 long bed 4x4 for the men.
- NO MORE UNIT BEARINGS
- solid axles front and back on the 2500's, locking hubs, leaf springs.
- rotary pumps on the diesel engines (see NO computers above)
- no more rotary switching. Grab the shifter on the floor for 4x4, the arm behind the steering wheel for transmission.
- bring back manual transmissions as a drive train option
- trailer towing package standard on the 2500's instead of an option
- change every other ridiculous thing on the RAM trucks that make me consider them to be nothing more than a grocery getter.
- buy the Bronco line from Ford and bring back the "classic" pre-'78 line and the "second gen" '78-'79 line. Build them as they were in their day, not some pathetic "executive crossover" that just looks like any other shiny grocery getter and ruins the Bronco legacy.
- oh, bring back the Ram Charger... That always was a bad ass alternative to the Bronco.
