Illumination question on driver’s door panel switches

I did cancel the eBay order as it was coming from China. I'm not happy with them right now so no money going that way.
I am having some difficulty in pulling up the part online. One site keeps asking for vin to confirm part will fit. Well, that's not gonna happen since the part I am looking for is for another vehicle.

All of the switches have the folding mirror button internally. Trucks with folding mirrors get the mechanical piece to actuate the internal switch. I converted a switch one time. Should not be an issue to use this switch on a non-folding mirror truck.

Most assuredly you do not have illuminated switches.
Both my 17 bighorn and 19 classic bighorn DID NOT come illuminated

Yep, I never knew I needed these switches till I saw the original post where the member changed them.
I always used braille or mirror fold muscle memory

Same here, i actually went out to my truck to see if they lit up, but nope.

Looks like FCA didn't think that one might need to adjust their mirrors at night. For me being new to Ram trucks I am still learning where things are in my truck and at night its 10 times worse.
Ordered my switch from MyMoparParts so it won't be but about 10 days and I won't need to search around in the dark NO MOE.

I do not have the power folding mirrors but I checked again and yes they all light-up green including the mirrors. Infact all 4 doors light up.

Looks like FCA didn't think that one might need to adjust their mirrors at night.

Probably the same engineer that thought some of us will never need to look under the hood after dark so they could save money on the underhood light.

Hey, don’t feel bad, my 18 Limited that’s sposed to have everything didn’t even come with an under-hood light. I had to order one- cable, light fixture, push pins and all to mount the light in mine.

So what’s the differences between these two stitches? I don’t know if I wanna spend 80 bucks on just having the luxury of seeing the power fold button since that’s all that doesn’t light up on the Ram window switch, isn’t it? Or is it also the L and R buttons along with the directional pad as well? Can’t remember. Lol.

It is just that the mirror button all light up, as far as I can tell. I get people coming up behind me and I adjust my mirrors down as bright lights give me a headache. I have sensitive eyes to bright light.
