Thanks. So I bought her last Saturday. I had a glasspack welded in today and left the resonators in place. It sound good but I think I need it a bit louder. Suggestions? I have a K&N CAI on order now. What else do yall recommend for entry level mods for this truck?

Intake, exhaust and a programmer would be good basic mods. Sounds like you have two of the three taken care of.

You can remove the resonator but if that is an MDS equipped truck, you probably won't like the drone you'll get when it slips into MDS mode.

Does the MDS really help?? If I procure a flash tuner I can turn it off right? Recommendations for a tuner?

I don't know if it does or not. My truck doesn't have that feature. From what I've read, I get the general impression that it doesn't.

You can turn MDS off and I would recommend a DiabloSport Predator, Trinity or the new InTune. I like DiabloSport's products and have two HEMI powered vehicles with their tunes loaded on them.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you guys run custom tunes for your mods or do you tinker w/the tuner yourself or do you use the supplied tune on the programer?
I'm new to ram/truck mods. I am a mustang guy...

I run a canned tune with a few tweaks available through the "Modify Tune" menu, such as idle spead, added a bit of fuel, tire size, etc...

My other HEMI has a custom tune stacked on a DiabloSport 91 octane tune.
