Don't know what a good stock time is for a 2nd Gen. Eight would be allot better, seven real good, 6 and a half gettin up there and in the fives would be smokin, but I'm talkin 3rd Gen QuadCab times IMO.

At least you have your baseline!

Very respectable Colton. In the TOTM you can see what I ran in 0-60 in the video. I think it was like 12 or 13.

Thats not half bad, I know of more trucks running around that would kill to hit an 11 sec 0-60 time.

^^^^ I'm one of them. Hell to hit single digits would be awesome. But My truck is about pulling not speed.

Not too shabby! :D Time for a 390 stroker kit, but not shabby at all. :)

I would tend to agree though, I wouldn't dump a lot into that truck unless you plan on going to a different motor... Only motor swapped 2nd gens can be called fast in my book.

This is one of my time slips from my 1997 5.2L

I was truck 4090 and the other truck was 4089 which was a 2004 1500 5.7L

That's it... Once the roads are clear here, I'm going to get my window mount out for the camera and do some runs... :D
