So I bought my 2014 ram 2500 6.4 hemi certified pre owned with 56k miles on it. About 6 months later I start getting this EVIC message saying immediate air suspension serrvice/repair required. I did some research and the only posts I can find about it talk about cold weather, but i am in the middle of texas during the summer. Its not cold.
Also the truck will not go into alternate trailer height.
I took the truck to the dealer and after a week they are telling me that a connector on the second alternater is bad, as well as the entire wire chassis harness for the air ride suspension. And neither is covered by warranty.
I am suprised that it wasnt one of the actual parts of the air ride system. Does anyone think this will actually fix my issue? Im debating fixing or not bothering and selling it back. I dont want to have more issues with this system down the road especially since its not covered.
Thanks for any help
