Do a phantom draw test. This will show how much is being drawn with everything off. If it’s more than .5volt something is a mis. The radio may not be turning off completely or a door pin is leaving light on or console light not turning off when it’s closed. It may be slightly more than.5 on the newer trucks ,but .5 volts was a rule of thumb on most vehicles . You can find the specific # in tech info. The way we used to test was pull the positive cable & test between the cable & battery. Turn off everything and close doors. If it has a under hood light unplug it. This should give you an idea of how much of a drain there is. In the cars I’ve done this with , I found a glove box light that didn’t shut off & a trunk light. Also cargo light on a truck & interior lights.
The draw is in amps, not volts and it should be .04 or 4 miliamps or less at full sleep. If you are drawing .5 amp after being shut off for 2 hours and the fob is in the house, then something isn't shutting down properly.

as this is a 5 gen, it may be different them my 4th, Do you have the radio with a sub woofer in the back, mine is under the rear seat and I would unplug that and check power draw again, also check any aftermarket stuff that has been added, aftermarket remote starter seems to cause lots of problems.

I have not checked my truck, I know the wife's Honda is 4ma at rest ,I think, but it has way less stuff then these trucks.
I think you have to have the hood closed when checking current draw.

Putting a switch in place of a fuse is not the solution to this problem. you have to figure out what is the problem, if its the radio, I use to fix those, but retired and just tired now.
You could hook a switch in the line under the dash till you figure it out.
There will be more then one power feed to these radios ( mini computer)
